To describe Dragged Out to Sea is somewhat like attempting to count to infinity. Both are an exercise in futility. The eclectic millieu of influences that define their sound ranges form the noiserock leanings of the The Turin Horse to the harsh metallic hardcore of Converge. The atmospheric turns occasionally call to mind the post-metal leanings of The Ocean Collective while the diverse vocal attack instead emulates the mighty Neurosis. Their new release "With Only Skeletons Left" encapsulates the dynamic sound that has made them such a powerful force in the northern midwest.
